1. From the comparison of cutting methods:
1.) The CNC flame cutting machine has a strong cutting ability for thick carbon steel, with low cutting costs. However, it has large cutting deformation, low cutting accuracy, slow cutting speed, long cutting preheating time and perforating time, and is more difficult to meet the requirements of fully automated operation. Its application is mainly restricted to the cutting of carbon steel and thick plates. In the cutting of medium and thin carbon steel plates, it will gradually be replaced by plasma cutting.

The fine plasma cutting has brought the cutting quality close to the level of laser cutting. With the maturity of high-power plasma cutting technology, the cutting thickness has exceeded 150mm, expanding the cutting range of the CNC plasma cutting machine.
3) The CNC laser cutting machine features high cutting speed and precision. The laser cutting machine is expensive and has high cutting costs, and is only suitable for thin plate cutting with high precision requirements.
4) The CNC high-pressure water jet cutting machine is suitable for cutting any material (metal, non-metal, composite materials), with high cutting accuracy and no thermal deformation. It adopts an environmentally friendly cutting method. Its disadvantages include slow cutting speed, low efficiency and high cutting costs.
2. Regarding the mechanical structure:
1) The gantry CNC cutting machine is a vertical structure of traditional large and medium-sized machine tools with a double bottom frame beam seat, featuring a large span and longitudinal walking distance, and is suitable for large-scale plate processing.
