What is a cnc plasma cutter? Plasma cutting machine refers to the high-voltage plasma arc generated by the machine plasma power supply, instantly break through the workpiece, re-pass slag, to form of cutting parts; numerical controling system control plasma cutting arc along route. The machine uses plasma cutting power supply depending on the thickness of the cutting workpiece.
Flame CNC cutting machine refers to the flame cutting gun fixed in any structure of the CNC cutting machine, through the numerical control system to control the direction of the cutting gun, along route, and finally complete the drawing of the cutting.
Combined with the above, how different is flame cutting and plasma cutting:
1. The cost is not the same, the flame cutter pre-purchase price is lower, later because of the need to use of fuel (industrial oxygen-propane or acetylene). Plasma cutting because the price of plasma power supply in the front machine is higher than the fuel price required for flame cutting, but later only needs to use nozzles replaced, so the late cost is lower.
2. Cutting material is not the same, flame cutting can only cut ordinary carbon steel plate.
3. The thickness is not the same. Because the melting point and thermal deformation of flame cutting are more severe, then less than 6mm of workpieces need plasma cutting.
