How Air Plasma Cutting Works:

Plasma cutting uses a plasma source to transfer energy to a conductive material via a plasma stream. This stream is generated by directing gases-such as air-through a narrow nozzle. An external power supply creates an electric current that energizes the gas, ionizing it and turning it into a plasma arc. This process, known as plasma arc cutting, melts the workpiece, and the molten metal is blown away by the force of the plasma stream, completing the cut.
