1. The air pressure is too low.
CNC plasma cutting machine work, such as the operating pressure is far lower than the air pressure required by the specification, which means that the plasma arc spewing out speed is weakened, the input air flow is less than the specified value, at this time can not form a high-energy, high-speed plasma arc, resulting in poor incision quality, cut, incision tumor phenomenon. The reasons for the shortage of air pressure are: air compressor input air is insufficient, cutting machine air conditioning valve pressure is too low, the solenoid valve has oil pollution, air route is not smooth and so on.
The solution is to observe the air compressor output pressure display before use, if the requirements are not met, the pressure can be adjusted or the air compressor can be repaired. If the input air pressure has reached the requirements, the air filter pressure relief valve should be checked to be adjusted correctly; Otherwise, the air filter pressure relief valve should be daily maintenance, to ensure that the input air is dry, oil-free. If the input air quality is poor, will cause oil to produce oil in the pressure relief valve, valve core opening difficult, the valve port can not be fully opened. In addition, the torch nozzle pressure is too low, also need to replace the pressure relief valve, the gas section will also cause the air pressure is too low, according to the specification requirements to replace the trachea.
2. The air pressure is too high.
If the input air pressure far exceeds 0.45MPa, after the formation of the ion arc, the excessive air flow will blow out the concentrated arc column, so that the arc column energy dispersion, reducing the cutting strength of the plasma arc. The reasons for high air pressure are: improper input air regulation, air filtration pressure relief valve regulation is too high, or air filtration pressure relief valve failure.
The solution is to check that the air compressor pressure is suitable for adjustment and that the pressure of the air compressor and the air filter pressure relief valve is out of balance. After power-on, such as rotating air filter pressure relief valve adjustment switch, the gauge pressure no change, indicating that the air filter pressure relief valve failure, need to be replaced.
3. Torch nozzles and electrodes burned
Due to improper nozzle installation, such as wire buckle is not tight, equipment gear adjustment is not appropriate, the torch needs to be cooled with water in the work, not as required to flow into the cooling water and frequent arcing, will cause premature damage to the nozzle.
The solution is, in accordance with the technical requirements of cutting workpieces, correctly adjust the equipment in each gear, check whether the torch nozzle is installed, the nozzle that needs to pass the cooling water should be circulated in advance of the cooling water. When cutting, adjust the distance between the torch and the workpiece according to the thickness of the workpiece.
4. Input AC voltage is too low
The use of plasma cutting machine site has large-scale electrical facilities, cutting machine internal main circuit component failure, etc. , will make the input AC voltage is too low.
The solution is to check whether the plasma cutter is connected to the grid with sufficient carrying capacity and the power cord specifications meet the requirements. Plasma cutter installation sites should be kept away from large electrical equipment and frequent electrical interference. During use, regularly clean the dust and dirt on the cutting machine, check the wire for aging, etc.
5. Poor contact between the ground and the workpiece
Grounding is an essential preparation before cutting. The non-use of special grounding tools, insulation on the surface of the workpiece and long-term use of severeaging ground wire, etc., will make the ground wire and the workpiece contact poor
Solution: Special grounding tools should be used and insulation should be checked to affect ground wire contact with the workpiece surface to avoid the use of aging ground wires.
6. Spark generator does not automatically break the arc
When the plasma cutting machine is working, the first step is to ignite the plasma arc, by the high-frequency oscillator to stimulate the gas between the electrode and the inner wall of the nozzle, produce high-frequency discharge, so that the gas local ionization and form a small arc, this small arc is affected by the role of compressed air, from the nozzle to ignite and so on off the arc, which is the main task of the spark generator. Under normal circumstances, the working time of the spark generator is only 0.5 to 1s, the reason for not automatically breaking the arc is generally to control the circuit board component imbalance, spark generator discharge electrode clearance is not suitable.
Solution: The spark generator should always be checked to keep the electrode, so that its surface remains flat, timely adjust the spark generator discharge electrode clearance (0.8 to 1.2mm), if necessary, replace the control plate.
7.
